Flow: training that adapts while you do.

Solo: product, design and engineering. 2026, iOS.

ON THEAPP STORE
Flow's Today screen: a suggested full-body plan built for today, with Start workoutSession complete: the front-and-back muscle map with worked and fresh musclesCoach: pick a goal and Flow builds a multi-week program

A working recreation of the interface, in the page. Escape closes it.

The problem

A plan written weeks ago doesn't know what you have today. Flow builds a useful session from your goal, your training history and the equipment you have today, and shows the load building up as you train.

The decisions

  • The decision engine is plain TypeScript, tested without React Native, so the prescription logic stays inspectable.
  • The app layer is deliberately thin (Expo Router, Zustand for the live session, SQLite on the device), so logging a set feels immediate.
  • A front-and-back muscle map makes the session's accumulated load visible at a glance.

Out in the world

On the App Store as “Flow: Gym Workout Log”. One-tap logging, warm-ups, plate math, rest control, substitutions and set types; programs adjust across missed sessions, deloads and the equipment on hand.
